Emma McBride has been an amazing supporter of the the We Care Connect Vulnerable Children Program since the beginning.

We first approached Emma asking if she would support our initial  major donation drive for children’s items in May 2017 that we called May-B-Baby. Not only did Emma support us but also offered her office as a permanent drop off point from then on! This has been fantastic for us.

We Care Connect

Over 10,000 children live below the poverty line on the Central Coast!  At the same time the Central Coast is a caring and sharing community who really want to help. We Care Connect enables this to happen.

We support disadvantaged children in our community by providing the clothes and equipment they need.  Our program collects and sort community donations of pre-loved children’s items. We then give these donated items  to families in need through the professional network of community centres and family support agencies.

Even more support

And again in Nov 2018

But more! Emma and her great team volunteered their time with us preparing personal packs that we give out to mums 💕 99% of what we receive and give out is for the kids. These personal packs, crammed with essentials and little luxuries are to give something special to mum as well 😍

Six members of Emma McBride's team and two We Care Connect volunteers sorting items to place in handbags to be distributed to local disadvantaged women. This was a corporate volunteer day by Emma McBride MP.
